Ms. Kenney's April 24 Newsletter
Dear Swift Families,
With beautiful spring weather returning we are thrilled to see more kids biking, scooting and walking to school. A gentle reminder that all kids must have a helmet if they are biking or scooting. A lock for bikes is a good idea too! Please be reminded that supervision starts at 8:15 and ends at 2:40.
Field Trips Coming!
There are many field trips coming up – please keep an eye on School Cash Account to pay and give permission for the trip. If you need any financial assistance, please contact Ms. Kenney at the office. We are happy to help where it’s needed.
Strong Start Closed – May 6th
Strong Start will be closed on May 6th while Ms. Lise is at a professional development event! We hope to see you at Strong Start the rest of the year!
Registration for 2026-2027 is open – K-5!
Registration is open for the 2026-2027 school year. There is a lot of information and different ways to register, please see our website, for all this information. Please spread the word around the community - the sooner families register, the better. It is very helpful having accurate numbers when we begin planning for next year.

Parking 101
Recently there have been many people choosing not to follow City By-Laws when dropping off and picking up – this has been particularly problematic in the Mireau cul-de-sac. Please be reminded that double parking and blocking driveways is in contravention of parking rules. The City of Abbotsford Bylaw department has been made aware of these concerns. Please follow all posted parking signs and follow By-law regulations.
