Dear Swift Families,
It’s hard to believe that a month of school is already complete! Thank you for your continued support! October is always a busy and exciting month with learning and celebrations! Please be sure to stay up to date by reading the bi-weekly news and checking the school website!
School Photos – Ordering and Retakes
School Photos are ready to view! If your child had their photos taken last week, they are ready. A card was sent home yesterday with all the information you might need!
To view the proofs please click here and enter your email and password. Your password is your child’s pupil ID number.
Any orders that are placed by November 15, 2023 will be back before the Christmas break. Orders can still be placed after that date but will not be guaranteed to be ready by Christmas.
If your child was away retakes will be on Tuesday October 3rd.

School Cash Account & Safe Arrival
Please be sure to set up your School Cash account. Each child needs to be added to your account. All school-based payments are made here, and all permission forms will be completed here as well. If you haven’t yet set up your account or need a refresher, information is on the website.
Also, the easiest way to report an absence is to have your SafeArrival account up and running! Information for creating that account is available on the school website.
Terry Fox Run – October 5th
We are looking forward to participating in the Terry Fox Run on Thursday October 5th. Thank you to all the parents who have offered to volunteer! Don’t forget that you can only volunteer if you have a completed Criminal Record Check! If you have volunteered to marshal, please sign in at the office, and go to the gym to find out where you’re headed. If you are planning on running with your child’s class, please sign in at the office and head down to your child’s class.
Please note, we have many parents that have offered their help that have not yet completed their annual volunteer forms – they will be waiting for you when you arrive!
Don’t forget to wear your red Swift shirt!
PAC Information: Coupon Books & Hot Lunch
There are still a few coupon books left! If you are interested in books please email the PAC directly at taswiftfundraising@gmail.com
Our next PAC meeting is on October 12th at 7:00pm in the library. We are still looking for a Carnival Rep and Donations Rep.
Our first hot lunch is coming up on October 13 – Dominos! Hot Lunch accounts can now be created. All the information needed to create your account can be found on the Hot Lunch section of the website All orders and payment for the October 13 Hot Lunch are due by October 3rd.
Fire Prevention Week – October 8-14
Fire Prevention Week is coming up! You are invited to a Family Open House on October 11th. More information is attached.
