Reminders for this Week!

Dear Swift Families,
It’s a busy week ahead, so I thought I would send along a couple of reminders.
- It will be wet! Please be sure to send kids to school to be outside rain or shine – even if it isn’t raining when you leave home in the morning, we all know the weather can change quickly! Having an extra set of clothes, especially socks, is helpful – we do not have enough extras to go around!
- Early Dismissal: Students will be dismissed on Wednesday October 23rd and Thursday October 24th at 11:45 for Parent Teacher Interviews. Please be sure you have arranged for someone to pick up.
- Interview Booking: The last day to book your interviews is Tuesday October 22nd – the booking system closes at 3:00pm that day. If you haven’t booked your interviews yet, information on booking is available here.
- Scholastic Book Fair: The Scholastic Book Fair will be open this week. It will be open before and after school, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and during Parent Teacher Interviews on Wednesday evening! The Book Fair will be open:
October 22nd – 8:00 – 8:30, 2:30 – 3:00
October 23rd – 8:00 – 8:30, 11:45 – 12:15, 12:45 – 2:30, 4:30 – 7:30
October 24th – 8:00 – 8:30, 11:45 – 12:15, 12:45 – 2:30
All of our teachers love getting new books! If you would like to buy a book or two for their classes, you can purchase a book, add a label, and we will be sure to pass along your classroom gift!
Payment can be made with Debit or Credit cards. Cash and Cheques will not be accepted. - Pro. D Day: Friday October 25th is a Professional Development Day – there will be NO SCHOOL for students.
