Swift News for the week of October 13

Dear Swift Families,

We are now well settled into school routines, and so much learning is happening all over the school. It is wonderful to hear the hum in all our classrooms as many activities take place. It has been exciting to see our Cross-Country runners back at it, and our Grade 5 Soccer team is starting their practices.
We look forward to seeing many families during parent teacher interviews next week, this is a great time for you as parents to share more about your children with us, and for you to hear how their year has started.

Swift News - September 29

Dear Swift Families,

Where did September go?

It’s hard to believe that a month of school is already behind us. Learning is humming along, and routines are nicely established. October brings us a chance to meet with all parents at Parent Teacher Interviews later in the month – information will be sent home shortly about the process for booking interviews.

We would like to take this (early) chance to wish everyone a safe and healthy Thanksgiving next weekend. Enjoy this time with family and friends.

Swift News - September 19

Thank you for a great start-up, it was wonderful to see everyone settled into their classes for the year. I suspect there were many tired kids this weekend – it seems like it always takes a few weeks to get back into “alarm clock” mode.

As we did last year, a brief newsletter will typically be sent out every other week – this year they will come on Thursday and will be posted to the website on Friday. I will do my best to have it out by 5:00 – but if it arrives a little later, you will just know that it was a busy day! This week however, it comes to you on Monday!
