It seems almost surreal that we are entering our last 4 weeks of school – on the other hand, so much has happened this year, everyone is ready for summer. We thank you for your continued support as we finish out the year.

Minister's statement for Pride 2023 in K-12 education

Rachna Singh, Minister of Education and Child Care, has issued the following statement to mark Pride 2023 and celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in B.C.'s education system:
"The month of June is a time for all in K-12 education throughout B.C. to hear more about Pride month, recognize and celebrate the contributions of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and learn more about the significance and origins of events that started out of protest, like the Pride parade.

Abbotsford School District Introduces Instructional Support Staff Appreciation Day

The Abbotsford School District is proud to announce the establishment of Instructional Support Staff Appreciation Day, dedicated to recognizing the invaluable contributions of Educational Assistants, Youth Care Workers, International Student Liaisons, and Indigenous Support Workers. Starting this June, with the inaugural celebration occurring today, this appreciation day will continue to be observed annually by the school district on the first Thursday of June.

We have gotten to the end of our Star Student Year and are excited to be announcing the last Star Students of 2022-2023.
The April Star Students will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 6th and the May Star Students will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 20th.

School Supply Lists for 2023!

If you are a keener and want to get a jump on your September School  Supplies, you can CLICK HERE to order! 

You can order them through the SchoolStart website or purchase them yourself at the store. We do not take orders or payment through the office. Follow the SchoolStart directions to create an account and select the correct list(s) for your child/children.

May Lost and Found

The Lost and Found from March has been taken care of and now we have a large number of items that has collected since then. A big thanks to Tasha Mash for helping to sort it out. Some items had names in them and were able to be returned to their owners. The following were not labeled and are very lonely for their people.
