Dear Swift Families,

The Abbotsford Board of Education is currently seeking feedback from families, employees, students and the larger community on the proposed school calendars for the next three years - 2024-2025 school year, 2025-2026 school year and 2026-2027 school year. Feedback will be collected via the school district's Engagement Portal until February 9, 2024.

The Abbotsford Board of Education regularly meets throughout the school year.

Know when and how to access mental health support for your child

Mental illnesses are common in children and young people, they can have a significant impact on their development, relationships and their performance in school. Getting help early can prevent symptoms from becoming more severe and support a faster recovery. 

Here is the Lost and Found from October - December! If you find and item that belongs to you, please email swift@abbyschools.ca and state the item number and description, your child's name and teacher or division.

The previously posted Lost and Found has been taken to charity.

Please be sure to label your child's clothing, hats and gloves.

As we near the end of 2023 and the beginning of the winter break throughout BC, Rachna Singh, Minister of Education and Child Care, has released the following end-of-year letters to families and staff.

We are excited for our Christmas Concert tomorrow, December 21st. There are 2 shows – 1:00pm and 6:00pm! We ask that you choose 1 show to attend, not both, and that if you’re available in the afternoon, you join us for that show.

Here is the list of November Star Students! These students will have their Star Student Celebration the first Tuesday we are back in class in January!
